What is this Game?

Joy-Baby is a game that hopes to be the answer to the following burning questions:

• How can I help my baby develop their capability to interact with objects?
• How can I teach my baby they can control object remotely?
• What game can I show my baby that they think is so cool they start grinning wildly as they play it?

How to Produce Nice Sounds

• Try begining by moving the controller up
• Those slices through the circle mark the zones of chords in a song
• Proceed from zone to zone in a clockwise manor at a pace that feels nice to you
• The Faster you move the joystick, the faster the the music will place
• As the joystick gets further from the center, the quality of the sound will change
• Pressing a button on the gamepad will cycle to the next part of the song

Things to Try with your Baby

• Set the baby up securely in a bouncer
• Don't play for too long; if they seem fussy, then they're ready for a nap
• Hold the full sized joystick (recommended) or game pad near the baby's hands
• Introduce the baby slowly, at first maybe only you push the joystick and look at the response from the screen
• It's ok if they can only push the stick in one direction, try rotating the joystick for them. I might have a chance to add more modes to the game that make the game less instrument-like and easier for it to produce pleasing tones automatically
